About the N.C. Health Care Personnel Education and Credentialing Section

This section is part of the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Service Regulation and provides services for unlicensed health care workers, their employers, and their instructors. This section makes registry information available for unlicensed health care workers provided you have the individual's Social Security number. Most health care facilities that hire unlicensed health care workers are required to conduct pre-employment registry verification through this section.
